1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using fromrangetoreef.com ("Range to Reef", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Range to Reef is a data-driven outdoor gear scoring and affiliate commerce platform. We provide GearScore™ ratings generated by artificial intelligence and real-world data across 22 outdoor sports categories. Scores are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.
3. Affiliate Disclosure
Range to Reef participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our GearScore™ ratings, which are generated independently by our AI scoring engine.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription Services
Paid subscription tiers (Ranger, Pathfinder) are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Free trials do not require a credit card and convert to paid subscriptions only if you choose to upgrade.
6. GearScore™ Accuracy
GearScore™ ratings are generated using AI models and publicly available data. Scores represent our best assessment at the time of generation and may not reflect the most current product specifications, pricing, or user sentiment. Range to Reef makes no warranty that GearScore™ ratings are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Range to Reef, including GearScore™ ratings, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Range to Reef or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: scrape or harvest data from the platform without permission; attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithms; use the service for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the operation of the platform or its infrastructure.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Range to Reef is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Range to Reef shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any reliance on GearScore™ ratings in purchasing decisions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
